Today we went to the temple so I am just gonna share a quick thought.
Time is whack here. The best way to explain it is that the days feel like weeks and the weeks feel like days. We have collectively decided, that because we are on Lord's time, man's time just makes no sense.
But as much as I feel like I've been here a lifetime, for the most part, I feel like time has flown by. I can't believe I'm halfway through my time at the CCM. and it's made me think about what I am doing with my time. How am I spending the Lord's time? I've really narrowed my thoughts to one big question.
Am I a FULL time missionary or a FILL time missionary? Am I filling this year and a half with missionary things or am I fully dedicated to the purpose? Am I going to count down these next 17 months or am I going to make these next 17 months count?
I WANT them to count. That's the goal. So I'm gonna work at it. So that means I HAVE to do things the Lord's way. I have to stay focused. On spanish. (even when everyone stared at me blankly because they have no idea what I am saying.) on the scriptures. and on Christ. I am more and more grateful for Him everyday. On the bus ride to the temple we were singing hymns/church songs. Everyone was messing around while we sang Come Come He Saints, I love to see the Temple, Follow the Prophet, etc. Then we began to sing Yo sè que vive mi Señor. (I Know that My Redeemer Lives) The moment we started singing an immediate reverence and spirit filled the bus. It was powerful and lasted long after we finished singing.
I know my Redeemer lives. and I am pumped to share that sweet knowledge with Fresno in THREE WEEKS.
