Hey fam!
This week was swell. Today Hermana Foutz and I were cleaning out our car for the week and we found FORTY FIVE half-filled water bottles. Seriously it was like Mary Poppin's bag, Everyone gives us water bottles because it's hot but we have so many and we feel so wasteful. And it's a problem. ( picture featured ) We just have TOO much water. But guess what we couldn't possibly ever get enough of? The LIVING water. Our Savior is too good. Everyday I am givin the opportunity to witness his matchless love and tender hands touch peoples lives and my own. His name opens homes and hearts to our message. What an HONOR to be representing him. I can't even begin to explain how much it humbles me. It has been amazing witnessing him change the lives of those we teach. This weekend Mari is getting baptized! The Savior and his atonement have strengthened her and given her so much confidence and joy. It has been a blessing to witness. The Savior has blessed me as well. This week I was having a rough time. I just missed home and people, especially my family. I came home one day pretty exhausted. Physically. Emotionally. I sat down at my desk and sitting in a pile of my papers was a postcard from some members in my wards. It was nice picture of Shiprock and a good old New Mexican sunset. Somehow I missed it when our Training Leader had first left it for me and I was able to find a little piece of home right when I needed it. His love comes pouring in and heals in whatever way we need. His tender mercies can be big or small. Sometimes he just sends us a postcard. Just keep your eye out.
