¡Hola, muchachos!

That look right there? ^^^ My heart just swooned. But I gotta tell you his talk may have been sweet and heartfelt is chalk full of essential doctrine and he asked some big things from us. For the past week, I have been working on them and I will tell you from the bottom of my heart that Russell M. Nelson is inspired by our Heavenly Father. So in case, you missed the talk (even if you are part of the brethren of the church) I am going to ask you to do these four things:
1. Participate in a 10-day fast from social media and from any other negative or impure media. President Nelson encouraged us to notice how the fast affects their priorities and then to record and act on spiritual impressions we receive. The fast comes to an end a bit ago and it was soo good. 10/10 would recommend.
2. Read the Book of Mormon between now and the end of the year.
President Nelson suggested that as they read, they mark each verse that refers to the Savior and talk about Him with friends and family.
3. Establish a pattern of regular temple attendance.
Time in the temple can lead to greater understanding about how to draw upon God’s priesthood power! Wowie!
4. Participate fully in Relief Society. (okay the brethren can get a break on this one.)
He added that studying the Relief Society purpose statement and the Relief Society declaration can help women understand who they are and who the Lord needs them to be.
Wow. The gospel just feels RIGHT in my heart.
See ya in a hot minute. With love,
Hermana Nygren
But really, wasn't conference just the best? We were spiritually fed SO much. It was seriously a, "I-had-a-gift-card-to-Chick-fil-a-and-used-it-all-in-one-visit" kinda feast. How lucky are we to have a prophet of God on the Earth today? President Nelson is the most amazing human being and I love him so much. When I was listening to him in the Women's session my heart just could not handle the amount of love I feel for him and the amount of love I feel from him. He is just the best. DO you remember whenever he said, "Through the years, whenever I have been asked why I chose to become a medical doctor, my answer has always been the same: “Because I could not choose to be a mother...”' and he gave that look?
