and HERMANA Nygren. (Sorry if I gave you a heart attack dad. Still speaking Spanish out here.)
AND Sister in the Tongan language Nygren.
Yeah in my area I gotta know all three. I've been sent out to Los Banos for my first area and I LOVE it. But it is a HUGE area. We cover three cities and if I understood correctly it would take over an hour to drive from each end. So, SO big. And this area is full of Spanish, English and Tongan speakers. And we are the ONLY two missionaries covering the area. Maybe its normal to only have two Hermanas covering a huge area of multi-lingual people BUT I found it a tad overwhelming. 1 Nephi 17:51 helped me out. "And now, if the Lord has such great power, and has wrought so many miracles among the children of men, how is it that he cannot instruct me... that I could build a ship? (...or that I could speak Spanish.) (...or that I could complete his work in Los Banos) I know Heavenly Father makes us enough through our best efforts.
And just like Nephi we are in "Bountiful" (according to my mission president.) And so far I whole heartily agree. I mean we have a three bed room house AND our own bathrooms. And we have a little orange tree. And a little aloe vera plant. And our neighbor's lemon tree always drops lemons into our yard. It's wonderful. But the people are even better. I love the ward with my whole heart. The people here are so good. And we already have SO many wonderful people that we are teaching and that are progressing to baptism. We have a few scheduled baptisms that I am so excited for and I have met so many great people. It is so amazing to actually be doing the Lord's work.

PS. My new comp is a lovely human being. I already love her SO much. She has the greatest soul.
