Heyo!
So, this week my weekly goal was to find 350 things I was grateful for. I ended up having a ton of fun with it. And I came up with 2,475 things. It was wild. But I am so GRATEFUL for gratitude. It has helped me become happier, more motivated, and closer to my Heavenly Father. Thomas S. Monson said about gratitude.
"... to express gratitude is gracious and honorable, to enact gratitude is generous and noble, but to live with gratitude ever in our hearts is to touch heaven."
Entonces, some things this week that I am so, so very grateful:
1. David Archuleta's Spanish version of Glorious. Everyone deserves to bless their ears with that.
2. Hermana Siminca's fresh mangos. We are SERIOUSLY blessed.
3. Otra vez: THE SPIRIT. On Friday we made a plan to knock some different streets but the Spirit said nope to all of them. So, we went and knocked this other street and we met this one women. It was really a cool experience. As we were talking with her about the Savior and the Book of Mormon she interrupted us. And told us she had a question. She asked if we believed that we would live in family units after this life. We were able to testify of eternal families and the plan of salvation to her. She loved it! So blessed to have the Spirit guide us.
4. We met this woman named Christina while tracting and it turns out she was baptized about 10 years ago and had fallen away. But she came to church this Sunday which was really exciting. And when she came members of the ward remembered her! Isn't that wild? She hasn't been to church in eight years and people came to her side, excited to see her. I am so grateful for a church and gospel that constitutes such a genuine and Christlike love.
See y'all in a hot second,
Con amor,
Hermana Nygren
PS. My district leader "accidentally" burnt all our goals and weekly plans. So like someone should fill me in on what in the world elders are doing.
1. look it. how pretty. mother earth is too good to us.
2. like I love dresses and all but service days are great bc sweats
3. our strawberries are gone but they went to good use.
